Cyberallié president Jean-François LeBlanc was honoured as 2024 Mentor of the Year at the Gatineau Chamber of Commerce's Excelor Gala.
The award recognizes more than a decade of volunteer commitment to entrepreneurs. Since 2012, Jean-François has mentored numerous entrepreneurs through the Chamber's mentoring cell, supported by Réseau Mentorat.
Mentoring as a mission
For Jean-François, mentoring is a deeply human act: sharing experience, listening to each entrepreneur's challenges and contributing to a strong business community. In his speech, he reminded the audience that entrepreneurship is not always as easy as it looks, and that every entrepreneur deserves someone experienced to talk to.
He also invited entrepreneurs with more than ten years of experience to join the mentoring cell and support the next generation.
One motivation: helping
Whether in his IT business, in municipal politics, in teaching or today in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, his main motivation remains the same: helping. It is also the spirit in which Cyberallié supports SMB leaders.
