Privacy policy

How Cyberallié collects, uses, protects and retains your personal information, in accordance with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector and applicable federal law.

Last updated: November 6, 2026

1. Person in charge of personal information

Jean-François LeBlanc, President of Cyberallié, is responsible for the protection of personal information. Contact him at [email protected] or 819-955-7400 for any question, access or correction request, withdrawal of consent or complaint.

2. Information we collect

We only collect information you provide voluntarily: name, email, organization, phone and message content when you use the contact form, book a meeting or write to us. We never ask for passwords.

3. Purposes

This information is used solely to respond to your request, prepare and deliver our services, and follow up on our business relationship. We never sell or rent your information.

4. Cookies and analytics

This website uses no advertising cookies or third-party tracking tools. Only a technical security cookie from our host, used to block bots, may be set when you use the contact form. YouTube videos are loaded from youtube-nocookie.com only if you click to play them. Our host's technical logs (IP address, date, page viewed) may be kept temporarily for security purposes.

5. Service providers and hosting

Your information may be processed by our technology providers as needed: our web host and our email and scheduling service (Microsoft 365). Some providers may store data outside Quebec. We choose providers offering recognized security measures and govern these transfers by contract, as required by law.

6. Retention and destruction

Inquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept for no more than 24 months, then destroyed. Information related to an engagement is kept as long as required by our legal and accounting obligations.

7. Security

We apply reasonable safeguards: encrypted connection (HTTPS), multi-factor authentication on our accounts, limited access and ongoing awareness. No measure offers absolute security.

8. Your rights

You may request access to or correction of your information, request that its dissemination cease, or withdraw your consent by writing to the person in charge. You may also file a complaint with Quebec's Commission d'accès à l'information or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

9. Confidentiality incidents

Every confidentiality incident is recorded in our register. When it presents a risk of serious injury, we notify the competent authorities and the individuals concerned.
